The foundation's mission is to document and celebrate the historical importance of Tribeca, New York. Through the eyes of legendary photographer Donna Ferrato, other notable artists, activists and community members, the history of Tribeca will be preserved through photography and other visual media. The 10013 Foundation aims to expand creativity in photography and the photographic arts by engaging new audiences and new ideas about imagery.
Revitalizing the community and enhancing education are key goals of the foundation, and will be achieved by supporting innovative ideas, raising awareness of local issues and devoting resources to cultural dialogue within the community. The ultimate goal is to encourage a lively arts community and secure the history and relevance of the neighborhood.
